PoePoe Productions is a little thing taken care of by the artist that was started in Dec 2008. The name was inspired by her dog named “Poeros” which was shortened down to Poe. Anytime the dog was upset the owner would go “It’s ok, Poepoe.” Silly? Yeah. Does it work? Hell yeah.
About the comic
Why “Coyote Hobby?”
The original name for this comic was going to be “Good Hobby” but it was traded for “Coyote Hobby” when I was driving home and looked in my rear view mirror to see a Coyote standing in the road and watching me while I waited for the light to change. It seemed like a sign, so I went with it.
How often is the comic updated?
Twice a week if possible; Monday and Friday. More updates will happen depending on donations.
Are any of theses characters actually based off real people?
Real people? No. Stereo types? Sometimes. Rags is based off an actual dog that was rescued and in much worse condition then comic Rags and ended up passing away from heart worm and a number of infections. As tribute that to that poor thing, we named the dog in the comic after him.
Is this comic based off anything?
Yes. Life.
Where do you get the names for these characters at?
With the exception of Rags, I normally ask the person I am talking to on the IM to give me a boy/girl name off the top of their head and run with it.

Bridget Trice was born Aug 8, 1984 at Whiteman Air Force Base. She was always a creative little thing but really didn’t dive into the drawing bit till she was 22. Currently lives in AZ with her husband and four pets.

Miscellaneous Questions
I would really enjoy something drawn by the artist. What do I do?
We here at PoePoe Productions will take COMMISSION requests only. Commission prices depend on the request along with size, detail yatta yatta yatta. Once image is done and money is transferred on PayPal, you will get your image. Not before. Send an email to the artiest to work out the details (email is given at the bottom.)
I have seen some of the artist’s other artwork and the comic is no where neared that detailed. Why?
Most of the other artwork done by the artist takes a day to do, while the comic takes about two hours per strip. Some of the art quality must be scarified in order to keep to the update schedule. Also, people pay for that other art work, comic is free.
I have a question/suggestion/complaint, who do I send it to?
